Impotence
Impotence is a sexual disorder that makes a person unable to keep an erection for a considerable amount of time. Impotence can also refer to other sexual disorders like premature ejaculation, lack of sexual drive and problems with orgasm.
Premature ejaculation, a sign of impotence, refers to rapid ejaculation. In this case the person ejaculates right after an erection. This leads to displeasure and unsatisfied sex and often the entire sexual encounter ends before the female partner begins to enjoy herself.
Impotence can also refer to lack of sexual drive. Often especially if a man is stressed out or is suffering from some debilitating ailment can become sexually numb. Ailments or diseases like diabetes reduce sex drive drastically. This is often a long term phenomenon and can be corrected only by medication. Lack of sex drive due to excessive stress, can however; be corrected with proper rest. It has no long term effect on one’s sex organs.
Problems with orgasms are also quite common in men in such a case sometimes the semen which is supposed to flow out of the penis flows into the bladder. Today, to counter the effects of impotence, doctors prescribe Viagra to the people who are unable to perform sex.
